aVectors, iVectors, and other allocations displayed on TSPvectors are model allocations developed according to methodologies described on the website.

They are provided to the general public and are not created or modified based upon the individual circumstances of any particular visitor.

References to target years or investment horizons help organize and describe TSPvectors’ model allocations. For TSPvectors, the relevant year generally refers to when a participant expects to begin withdrawing retirement savings, which may differ from the year they retire from employment or military service. A Vector’s target year does not, by itself, establish whether the model is appropriate for a particular participant.

TSPvectors uses target-date fund research to develop model allocations using TSP funds. These models do not replicate the underlying target-date funds or guarantee similar performance. Where external funds or indexes are used as proxies for TSP funds, they are approximations and may differ in holdings, expenses, investment exposures, and returns.
